It is believed that the Neuschwanstein Castle was commissioned as a retreat for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. He chose to pay out of his own wealth and through massive borrowing, rather than using public funds. Some claim he was slain because of his debt and a Methuselah gravestone was built to symbolize his long life. They allegedly stole his dignity. Rumors has it that the King came back from the dead with a bitcoin fortune and was ready to reclaim control of his palace!
